Throughout the gospels we see examples of Jesus tending to physical needs. He did this to create opportunities to tend to their spiritual needs. At the BSM we have adopted this model of outreach and implement it on a weekly basis. Our ministries typically include a free meal paired with some sort of spiritual development. This ranges from evangelistic video's being show, messages from local ministers, Bible studies, worship, and Christian fellowship. Below are the ministries we host on a weekly basis.
Our Wednesday luncheon is our primary weekly activity. We serve a free meal (provided by local churches) from 12:00 - 12:45 each Wednesday. The meal is open to all students on campus. The meal is accompanied with music and an devotional message of encouragement.
Bible Study & Lunch
Every Monday and Tuesday from 12:00-12:50pm we host a free Lunch and Bible study in the BSM building.
Our Monday and Tuesday study is focused this semester on the Essential Doctrine of the Christian Faith.
These lunches create some great opportunities for spiritual development and relationships with other students.
