After some successful trial runs, we are excited to offer a basic & unique website creation service exclusively for GBA churches. Designed as a "shared website service," these websites will provide your church with a simple, clean, effective online presence.
What we will offer

Basic Website Creation: Each website will feature a clean and straightforward design with the goals of sharing a church location, contact and programs.

Customization Options: After setup, your church can appoint one trusted individual to make content updates and adjustments.

Oversight and Support: While your church maintains editing responsibilities, GBA will have oversight access to assist when needed.

What we need from Churches

Form Completion: Each applying church needs to complete the form attached below and give us as much information as possible to begin the design process.

Trusted Editors: After setup, your church can appoint one trusted individual (ideally the pastor) to make content updates and adjustments.

Online Sermon Portals/Links: Churches that utilize sermon streaming via Facebook or Youtube can be linked to the website. Churches will be responsible to set these services up in order for them to be integrated on their website.

Online Giving Portals/Links: Churches will be responsible to set up (and pay separately) for their own online giving platforms that can then be linked to each website. Popular options include:

Important Notes

Access and Editing: Each church will have shared access via Hostinger web hosting. It is crucial that your appointed editor is reliable and aware of shared access implications to prevent accidental edits on other church websites.

Domain Creation: New Domains will be purchased and created by the GBA while working with churches. It may be possible to integrate an old domain, but not guaranteed!

Maintenance and Updates: Churches are primarily responsible for updating their websites post-creation. The GBA can assist with changes as needed.

Announcement Practices: Continuous church announcements are recommended to be made on Social Media and integrated onto the Website. The GBA will not assist in "announcement posting."

Costs for church

One-Time Set Up Fee:

A one time fee of $150 paid to the GBA covers website creation and domain integration. (website will be set up by Austin Lambert or students associated with the BSM)

Annual Fee: An annual fee of $120 paid each January covers hosting and domain fees.

Please note** This is as much of an experiment as it is a website experience! This "shared website service" will rely on the services of Hostinger Website builder and a basic contract from the GBA with Hostinger. Future changes may be made after a 4 year period, though pricing should not change based on current research.
